No matter what you are going through, choose joy Joy is a supernatural upper given by God in Christ to those who trust in Him. We will face trials and difficulties of many kinds. These trials test our faith, our trust in God.
Choose joy. Cling to Christ and your trust in Him in anything and everything you are going through. When you hold on, when you hold to faith, in the midst of difficult trials, that is perseverance. And although it’s work to persevere in faith and get through the trial, what I want you to know is perseverance is also accomplishing a work in you. Choose joy. Cling to Christ. Persevere through your trials. When you do, it will cause you to grow into the complete maturity God has in store for you. And you will come to a place of peace within, not lacking anything.
You won’t be saying, “Why is this happening?” “It’s not fair!” You won’t be tripping up on all the questions. You’ll be resting in the answer: Jesus Christ. Choose joy. You’ll be glad you did.
James 1:2-4 says:
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” James 1:2-4
