You are loved!

You are loved! You are loved with an everlasting love! It is the love of Jesus Christ. His love will never fail, falter, or fade. You can trust His love. Trust in Him. He is our Strength, Refuge, and an ever-present help in times of trouble. He will be with you always. He wants to give you a beautiful love. It is a pure love. It will never hurt you, harm you, or insult you. He wants you to give Him your heart, too. He will always love you. He will never leave you. He is with you always, right by your side. Trust in Jesus and His love for you!

Be The Light

Be The Light.  There may be darkness in the world.  But there is also light.  Light eradicates darkness.  This is true both literally and spiritually.  When you turn on a light, darkness disappears.  When you let your heart and spirit shine with the light and love of Jesus, the light of Christ will always shine brighter than any darkness that comes against it.  When we live in the peace, love and joy of Jesus, we become a light to this dark world.  Jesus is The Light that enlightens every person.  He is the source of all Truth, Goodness, Light and Love.  Those who believe in Him are His children.  He calls us to be children of light – His light.  Walk in His peace, love, and joy today.  Be The Light!  Let your light shine!

 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

Always Have Hope

Always have hope. Hope is an anchor for our souls. It keeps us grounded and stable. The greatest hope of all is found in knowing Jesus Christ and His great love for you. He is The Lord of all – The Lord of your circumstances and the Lord of all hope. Cling to hope. Never give up striving for what is good, true, and life-giving. Know that The Lord is with you and He will never leave you or forsake you.

Psalm 71:14 says, “As for me, I will always have hope.” The Lord is our refuge, our strength and our Deliverer. Let us cling to Him and hope in all things!

Here is the entire psalm. It is beautiful.

Psalm 71

In you, Lord, I have taken refuge;
    let me never be put to shame.
In your righteousness, rescue me and deliver me;
    turn your ear to me and save me.
Be my rock of refuge,
    to which I can always go;
give the command to save me,
    for you are my rock and my fortress.
Deliver me, my God, from the hand of the wicked,
    from the grasp of those who are evil and cruel.

For you have been my hope, Sovereign Lord,
    my confidence since my youth.
From birth I have relied on you;
    you brought me forth from my mother’s womb.
    I will ever praise you.
I have become a sign to many;
    you are my strong refuge.
My mouth is filled with your praise,
    declaring your splendor all day long.

Do not cast me away when I am old;
    do not forsake me when my strength is gone.
10 For my enemies speak against me;
    those who wait to kill me conspire together.
11 They say, “God has forsaken him;
    pursue him and seize him,
    for no one will rescue him.”
12 Do not be far from me, my God;
    come quickly, God, to help me.
13 May my accusers perish in shame;
    may those who want to harm me
    be covered with scorn and disgrace.

14 As for me, I will always have hope;
    I will praise you more and more.

15 My mouth will tell of your righteous deeds,
    of your saving acts all day long—
    though I know not how to relate them all.
16 I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, Sovereign Lord;
    I will proclaim your righteous deeds, yours alone.
17 Since my youth, God, you have taught me,
    and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.
18 Even when I am old and gray,
    do not forsake me, my God,
till I declare your power to the next generation,
    your mighty acts to all who are to come.

19 Your righteousness, God, reaches to the heavens,
    you who have done great things.
    Who is like you, God?
20 Though you have made me see troubles,
    many and bitter,
    you will restore my life again;
from the depths of the earth
    you will again bring me up.
21 You will increase my honor
    and comfort me once more.

22 I will praise you with the harp
    for your faithfulness, my God;
I will sing praise to you with the lyre,
    Holy One of Israel.
23 My lips will shout for joy
    when I sing praise to you—
    I whom you have delivered.
24 My tongue will tell of your righteous acts
    all day long,
for those who wanted to harm me
    have been put to shame and confusion.

God Will Provide

God will provide for those who trust in Jesus.  The apostle Paul says with confidence, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19. Trust in The Lord.  Pray He will meet your needs according to the riches of His glory.  His glory is not like man’s glory.  He is full of goodness, true courage, purity, and steadfast love.  He does not care only about Himself.  He cares for us – with an everlasting love.  He cares for you.  He will provide.

Choose Joy

No matter what you are going through, choose joy  Joy is a supernatural upper given by God in Christ to those who trust in Him.  We will face trials and difficulties of many kinds.  These trials test our faith, our trust in God.

Choose joy.  Cling to Christ and your trust in Him in anything and everything you are going through.  When you hold on, when you hold to faith, in the midst of difficult trials, that is perseverance.  And although it’s work to persevere in faith and get through the trial, what I want you to know is perseverance is also accomplishing a work in you.  Choose joy.  Cling to Christ.  Persevere through your trials.  When you do, it will cause you to grow into the complete maturity God has in store for you.  And you will come to a place of peace within, not lacking anything.

You won’t be saying, “Why is this happening?” “It’s not fair!” You won’t be tripping up on all the questions.  You’ll be resting in the answer: Jesus Christ.  Choose joy.  You’ll be glad you did.

James 1:2-4 says:

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” James 1:2-4

Please share how you choose joy in the midst of your trials.  Write me at

Unfailing Love

‘Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love.  For I have put my trust in You.” Psalm 143:8

There is no greater pain than the loss of love.  Yet there is no greater gain than unfailing love.  Where can we find this unfailing love?  It is found in Jesus Christ.  His love for us never fails.   We can trust Him to love us with a love that is strong, true and lasting.  My prayer for you today is that you wake up to a new morning comforted by the assurance that God’s love for you never fails.
