Pierced My Heart

The moment after I took communion in church today, The Lord put this song-poem on my heart as I was praying and thinking about Christ’s loving gaze.

You Have Pierced My Heart With Your Glory

By: Mandy Seymour

You have pierced my heart with Your glory.

The glory of the one and only

I only have eyes for you

A heart for you

Love that is true

Let me love like you do

Compassionate gaze

I want to stay

With You forever

Forever love.

Sweet bliss as rest

Glory over me

I give myself to you

Pure sacred love

Forever life.

You have pierced my heart with your gaze.

You have shown me your beautiful ways.

I am consumed with your love.

Faith Hope and joy from above

You have sent me on the path.

Of freedom, peace, and relief.

May I be resplendent in your glory.

May strife inside my heart cease

You died to set me free

Breaking down the wall of hostility

You are our peace

Between God, man, friends, and enemies.

May we live for you

May we love for you.

May we know joy that is holy

The joy of the one and only.
